Hijab = appropriate covering. i.e there is only a certain amount of skin permissible to be visible.

As Saaleha mentioned Nikaab = covering of the face

And the Jilbaab = conceals a woman’s shape .ie. her curves.

Hijaab refers to covering of the hair and the satr (don’t have the exact quraanic verses).
Niqaab refers to the face cover or veil.
The scarf is referred to as a Khimar, and it is this word that is used in the Quran in verses relating to the head cover.
That’s what I understand, I stand to be corrected.

please explain to me the concept of hijaab..

I am of the understanding that it is covering of the whole face and not just a scarf..

this is important as its a whole mindset. and i doubt its just me
